1 AN ACT to amend the Illinois Oil and Gas Act by changing
2 Section 3.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Illinois Oil and Gas Act is amended by
6 changing Section 3 as follows:
7 (225 ILCS 725/3) (from Ch. 96 1/2, par. 5406)
8 Sec. 3. Enforcement of Act. The Department shall be
9 charged with the duty of enforcing this Act and all rules,
10 regulations, and orders promulgated pursuant to in pursuance
11 of this Act.
12 The Department may authorize any employee of the
13 Department, qualified by training and experience, to perform
14 the powers and duties set forth in this Act.
