1 AN ACT to amend the Road Worker Safety Act.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Road Worker Safety Act is amended by
5 changing Section 5 as follows:
6 (430 ILCS 105/5) (from Ch. 121, par. 314.5)
7 (This Act was repealed by P.A. 89-7, which has been held
8 unconstitutional)
9 Sec. 5. Any contractor, subcontractor, or his or her
10 authorized agent in charge of construction work on highways
11 or bridges within the State of Illinois, or any driver of any
12 motor vehicle, who knowingly or wilfully violates any
13 provision of this Act, is guilty of a petty offense.
