1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 571
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 571 on page 1, line
3 21, after the period, by inserting the following:
4 "Officers, directors, and stockholders of a financial
5 institution, as that term is defined in Section 2 of the
6 Illinois Banking Act, acting in their official capacity are
7 not property owners for purposes of this Section. Such a
8 financial institution is not a property owner for purposes
9 of this Section if the financial institution acquired the
10 property through foreclosure, under the terms of a security
11 interest held by the financial institution, or under the
12 terms of an extension of credit made by the financial
13 institution.".
