1 AN ACT making an appropriation to the State Board of
2 Education.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The sum of $3,500,000, or so much of that
6 amount as is necessary, is appropriated from the General
7 Revenue Fund to the State Board of Education for costs
8 associated with Substance Abuse and Violence Prevention
9 Programs for Fiscal Year 1999.
10 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
11 becoming law.
