1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 385
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 385 on page 2, by
3 replacing lines 21 through 31 with the following:
4 "Notwithstanding any other provision of this Section,
5 nutrition services furnished by a licensed dietitian or a
6 licensed nutrition counselor as authorized by the Dietetic
7 and Nutrition Services Practice Act and pursuant to a
8 referral by a physician shall be covered under the medical
9 assistance program under this Article for person who are
10 otherwise eligible for assistance under this Article.".
