1 AN ACT to amend the Liquefied Petroleum Gas Regulation
2 Act by changing Section 4.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Liquefied Petroleum Gas Regulation Act is
6 amended by changing Section 4 as follows:
7 (430 ILCS 5/4) (from Ch. 96 1/2, par. 5604)
8 Sec. 4. Penalties. Whoever violates this Act or any of
9 the rules and regulations adopted pursuant to the provisions
10 of this Act is guilty of a petty offense, and upon conviction
11 thereof shall be punishable by a fine of not less than $1,000
12 for each $100 nor more than $500 for the first offense and
13 not less than $500 nor more than $1,000 for a second or
14 subsequent offense. Each day of violation of this Act or the
15 rules and regulations adopted pursuant to it shall constitute
16 a separate offense.
