1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 305
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 305, AS AMENDED,
3 with reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment
4 No. 1, on page 17, line 25, before the period, by inserting "
5 within the last 5 years"; and
6 on page 50, by replacing lines 1 through 6 with the
7 following:
8 "(11.5) Cost of day care services for children of
9 employees from low-income families working for businesses
10 located within the redevelopment project area and all or a
11 portion of the cost of operation of day care centers
12 established by redevelopment project area businesses to serve
13 employees from low-income families working in businesses
14 located in the redevelopment project area. For the purposes
15 of this paragraph, "low-income families" means families whose
16 annual income does not exceed 80% of the municipal, county,
17 or regional median income, adjusted for family size, as the
18 annual income and municipal, county, or regional median
19 income are determined from time to time by the United States
20 Department of Housing and Urban Development."; and
21 on page 60, line 2, after "and", by inserting ", if the
22 redevelopment project area (i) was established before the
23 effective date of this amendatory Act of the 91st General

1 Assembly and (ii) is located within a municipality with a
2 population of more than 100,000,".
