1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 153
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 153 on page 1, by
3 replacing lines 26 and 27 with the following:
4 "Section 15. The Cemetery Care Act is amended by adding
5 Section 25 as follows:
6 (760 ILCS 100/25 new)
7 Sec. 25. Use of care funds. When a township or
8 multi-township cemetery district takes over a cemetery or
9 cemetery authority, the care fund and care fund expenditures
10 continue to be subject to the provisions of this Act, and the
11 township or multi-township cemetery district must continue to
12 use the care fund exclusively for the care and maintenance of
13 the cemetery in accordance with this Act."; and
14 by deleting all of page 2.
