1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 60
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 60 on page 7, line
3 32, by replacing "agricultural areas." with "agricultural
4 conservation practices."; and
5 on page 8, line 2, by replacing "agreements" with
6 "conservation practices"; and
7 on page 9, by replacing lines 28 through 31 with the
8 following:
9 "The owners of land within the agricultural area may not
10 be subjected to a civil action for nuisance by a private
11 party. The Department of Agriculture may give technical
12 assistance and provide other resources for owners of land
13 within an agricultural area if subjected to any other private
14 civil action. Nothing in this Act shall be construed as a
15 limitation or preemption of any statutory or regulatory
16 authority arising under subsection (a) of Section 9 of the
17 Environmental Protection Act."; and
18 on page 10, by deleting lines 31 and 32; and
19 on page 11, by deleting lines 1 through 34; and
20 on page 12, by deleting lines 1 through 33; and
21 on page 13, by deleting lines 1 through 33; and
