1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 39
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 39 as follows:
3 on page 1, line 29, by replacing "the following" with
4 "expression that, as determined by the principal or
5 designated school official, is"; and
6 on page 1, line 30, by deleting "expression which is"; and
7 on page 2, line 1, by deleting "expression which is"; and
8 on page 2, line 3, by deleting "expression which
9 constitutes"; and
10 on page 2, by replacing line 5 with the following:
11 "(4) likely to"; and
12 on page 2, immediately below line 8, by inserting the
13 following:
14 "No expression made by students shall be deemed to be an
15 expression of school policy."; and
16 on page 2, line 11, by replacing "news," with "news and"; and
17 on page 2, line 11, by deleting ", and advertising content".
