Short description: 
SCH CD-TORT-HEALTH TAX                                                     

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the School Code.  Repeals a provision authorizing a school      
   district to levy, pursuant to front-door referendum  approval,  a  tax      
   for health insurance purposes.  Changes the tax for tort immunity levy      
   to  a  tax  for  tort immunity and health insurance levy, and provides      
   that the purposes for which the levy may be made  include  payment  of      
   health  insurance  premiums  for school district employees.  Effective      
   immediately.
