DPA-MEDICAL ASSISTANCE-TECH                                                

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Medical Assistance Article of the Illinois Public  Aid      
   Code.   Makes  stylistic  changes  in  provisions  prohibiting  double      
   payment  to skilled nursing or intermediate care facilities under this      
   Article for residents of those facilities.                                  
          STATE MANDATES FISCAL NOTE                                           
          In the opinion of DCCA, HB 1639 fails to create a State mandate      
          under the State Mandates Act.                                        
          FISCAL NOTE (Dept. of Public Aid)                                    
          There will be no fiscal impact on the Dept. until the bill is        
          amended.
