PEN CD-CHGO FIRE-INCR RETMT                                                

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Chicago Firefighter Article of  the  Pension  Code  to      
   increase the minimum retirement annuity to $1000 per month for certain      
   annuitants.   Amends  the State Mandates Act to require implementation      
   without reimbursement.  Effective immediately.

           Increase in total annual cost                          $ 2.3 M      
           Increase in total annual cost as % of payroll             1.0%
