1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3 to learn of the death of Albert A. Abraham of Peoria,
4 Illinois; and
5 WHEREAS, Albert A. Abraham was born in Eramans County,
6 North Dakota, on October 16, 1917, to George and Anna
7 Williams Abraham; on June 13, 1957 he married Marie S.
8 Slymann, in Peoria, Illinois; and
9 WHEREAS, Albert A. Abraham was an Army veteran of World
10 War II; in 1980 he retired from Local 353, where he worked as
11 a steamfitter; and
12 WHEREAS, Albert A. Abraham was a member of the Itoo Club
13 and St. Philomena Catholic Church; and
14 WHEREAS, Albert A. Abraham is survived by his wife,
15 Marie; his daughters, Donna Roth and Lisa Abraham; his three
16 sisters, Kathyrn Corey, Josephine Comfort, and Sebia
17 Williams; and his brother, Joe Abraham; therefore, be it
18 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY
19 OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his
20 family and friends, the death of Albert A. Abraham of Peoria,
21 Illinois; and be it further
22 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
23 presented to the family of Albert A. Abraham, along with our
24 sincere condolences.
