Appropriates $9,154,677 for the ordinary and contingent
expenses of the Office of the State Appellate Defender and
$1,551,515 for the ordinary and contingent expenses of the
Capital Litigation Division. Effective July 1, 1998.

1 AN ACT making appropriations for the Office of the State
2 Appellate Defender.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The following named amounts, or so much of
6 those amount as may be necessary, respectively, for the
7 objects and purposes named, are appropriated to meet the
8 ordinary and contingent expenses of the Office of the State
9 Appellate Defender:
