Appropriates $500,000,000 from the School Construction

1 AN ACT making an appropriation to the Illinois State
2 Board of Education.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The amount of $500,000,000, or so much of
6 that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the
7 School Construction Fund to the Illinois State Board of
8 Education for grants under the Safe Schools Capital
9 Enhancement Program.
10 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect on
11 July 1, 1997.
