expenses, from the following funds:
General Revenue Fund $19,294,100
Education Assistance Fund 2,696,000
Cooperative Computer
Center Revolving Fund 1,192,700

1 AN ACT making appropriations to the Board of Trustees of
2 Governors State University.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The following named amounts, or so much
6 thereof as may be necessary, respectively, for the objects
7 and purposes hereinafter named, are appropriated from the
8 General Revenue Fund to the Board of Trustees of Governors
9 State University to meet its ordinary and contingent expenses
10 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1998:
11 For Personal Services, including
12 payment to the University for
13 personal services costs incurred
14 during the fiscal year................. $15,690,100
15 For State Contributions to Social
16 Security............................... 106,100
17 For Contractual Services.................... 1,533,800
18 For Travel.................................. 119,900
19 For Commodities............................. 319,300
20 For Equipment and Library Books............. 984,600
21 For Telecommunication Services.............. 249,400
22 For Operation of Automotive Equipment....... 76,900
23 For Awards and Grants and Matching Funds.... 214,000
24 For Permanent Improvements.................. 0
25 Total.................................. $19,294,100
26 Section 10. The following named amounts, or so much
27 thereof as may be necessary, respectively, for the objects
28 and purposes hereinafter named, are appropriated from the
29 Education Assistance Fund to the Board of Trustees of
30 Governors State University to meet its ordinary and
31 contingent expenses for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1998:

7 Section 15. The following named amounts, or so much

9 hereinafter named, are appropriated to the Board of Trustees
10 of Governors State University from the Cooperative Computer
11 Center Revolving Fund to meet the ordinary and contingent
12 expenses of the cooperative computer centers for the fiscal
13 year ending June 30, 1998:

15 For State Contributions to Social
16 Security............................... 7,000
17 For Contractual Services.................... 341,500
18 For Travel.................................. 20,000
19 For Commodities............................. 25,000
20 For Equipment............................... 75,000

24 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July
25 1, 1997.
