1 AN ACT to amend the Adoption Act by changing Section 2.1.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Adoption Act is amended by changing
5 Section 2.1 as follows:
6 (750 ILCS 50/2.1) (from Ch. 40, par. 1503)
7 Sec. 2.1. Construction of Act. This Act shall be
8 construed in concert with the Juvenile Court Act of 1987, the
9 Child Care Act of 1969, and the Interstate Compact on the
10 Placement of Children.
