1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2306
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 2306, AS AMENDED,
3 with reference to the page and line numbers of House
4 Amendment No. 1, on page 8, line 21, by inserting after the
5 period the following:
6 "Notwithstanding any other provisions of this Section to the
7 contrary, a vehicle is not subject to seizure and forfeiture
8 under this Article if (A) the vehicle is used with the
9 knowledge and consent of the owner in the commission of a
10 second or subsequent violation of Section 11-501 of the
11 Illinois Vehicle Code, or a similar provision of a local
12 ordinance, or Section 6-303 of the Illinois Vehicle Code, if
13 the original revocation or suspension was for a violation of
14 Section 11-501 of the Illinois Vehicle Code or a similar
15 provision of a local ordinance and (B) the vehicle is
16 co-owned by the spouse of the person who is charged with the
17 commission of the offense.".
