1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2001
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 2001, on page 2, by
3 inserting immediately after line 26 the following:
4 "Section 6. In addition to any other amounts, the sum of
5 $300,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is
6 appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois
7 Arts Council for a grant to the Katherine Dunham Centers for
8 Arts and Humanities for the purpose of funding administrative
9 and grant expenses associated with its programs.
10 Section 7. In addition to any other amounts, the sum of
11 $200,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is
12 appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois
13 Arts Council for the purpose of a grant to fund
14 administrative and grant expenses associated with programs of
15 the Illinois Humanities Council.
16 Section 8. In addition to any other amounts, the sum of
17 $12,000,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is
18 appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois
19 Arts Council for the purpose of grants to fund administrative
20 and grant expenses, for support and enhancement of Illinois
21 visual and performing arts, cultural institutions, and
22 creative artists.".
