1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1437
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 1437 on page 1,
3 lines 2 and 6, by replacing "Section 10", each time it
4 appears, with "Sections 10 and 15"; and
5 on page 1, immediately below line 24, by inserting the
6 following:
7 "(20 ILCS 1510/15)
8 Sec. 15. Establishment of program. Grants shall be made
9 and projects shall be assisted under this Act only to the
10 extent that funding from State or federal sources is
11 available for those purposes. From the sums appropriated by
12 the General Assembly for any fiscal year, the Director shall
13 make grants to Executive Councils established in accordance
14 with Section 20 for the purpose of assisting local job
15 projects which meet the requirements of this Act. The General
16 Assembly may appropriate funds for the purposes of this
17 Section from any appropriate State source or from any
18 appropriate federal source, regardless of which State agency
19 is the initial recipient of the federal funds.
