SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

 

Appropriates $1,800,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois State Board of Education for grants to Local Education Agencies to conduct Agriculture Education Programs if and only if House Bill 4521 of the 99th General Assembly becomes law. Effective immediately.

    AN ACT concerning appropriations.

 

        Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

 

    Section 5. The amount of $1,800,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois State Board of Education for the purpose of making grants to Local Education Agencies to conduct Agriculture Education Programs.

 

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law, but this Act does not take effect at all unless House Bill 4521 of the 99th General Assembly, as introduced in the House of Representatives, becomes law.
