SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

 

Makes appropriations for the ordinary and contingent expenses of the Southwestern Illinois Development Authority for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2016, as follows:

    AN ACT concerning appropriations.

 

        Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

 

ARTICLE 1

 

    Section 1.  The sum of $1,427,800, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Southwestern Illinois Development Authority for replenishment of a draw on the debt service reserve fund backing bonds issued on behalf of Laclede Steel-Illinois.

 

Section 99.  Effective date.  This Act takes effect July 1, 2016, if and only if Senate Bill 2789 of the 99th General Assembly (the Unbalanced Budget Response Act), as introduced in the Illinois Senate, becomes law.
