AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 5603




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 5603 on page 1, by 
3replacing line 6 with "5, 15, 25, 27, and 65 as follows:"; and
  
4on page 7, lines 22 and 23, by replacing "National Fire 
5Protection Association (NFPA) 101 Life Safety Code (2012 2000 
6edition)" with "edition of the National Fire Protection 
7Association (NFPA) 101 Life Safety Code in force at the time of 
8installation and shall remain in compliance with that or any 
9subsequent edition of NFPA 101 enforced pursuant to Part 483 of 
10Title 42 of the Code of Federal Regulations National Fire 
11Protection Association (NFPA) 101 Life Safety Code (2000 
12edition)"; and


 
13on page 10, immediately below line 19, by inserting the 
14following:
 
15    "(210 ILCS 32/65)

1    Sec. 65. Rules.  The Department shall adopt rules necessary 
2to administer and enforce any Section of this Act. Rulemaking 
3shall not delay the full implementation of implement this Act.
