Amends the Wildlife Code. Provides that it shall be unlawful to take or possess deer in this State, except in compliance the Act and its rules (instead of in compliance with the provisions of Sections 2.25, 2.26, and 3.23). Effective immediately.

| 1 | | AN ACT concerning wildlife.
|
| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. The Wildlife Code is amended by changing Section |
| 5 | | 2.24 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (520 ILCS 5/2.24) (from Ch. 61, par. 2.24)
|
| 7 | | Sec. 2.24.
It shall be unlawful to take or possess deer in |
| 8 | | this State,
except in compliance with the provisions of this |
| 9 | | Act and its rules Sections 2.25,
2.26, and 3.23 and the |
| 10 | | administrative rules issued under the provisions of
those |
| 11 | | Sections. It is unlawful for any person to knowingly take
any |
| 12 | | all-white whitetail deer (Odocoileus virginianus) in this
|
| 13 | | State at any time.
