Appropriates $20,000,000 to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity from the Coal Technology Development Assistance Fund for grants, contracts, and administrative expenses under the provisions of the Illinois Coal Technology Development Assistance Act. Effective immediately.

    AN ACT making appropriations.

        Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5.  The following named amount, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity:

GRANTS

Payable from the Coal Technology Development

 Assistance Fund:

  For Grants, Contracts and Administrative

   Expenses Under the Provisions of the

   Illinois Coal Technology Development

   Assistance Act, including prior years

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.
