Amends the State Parks Act and the Illinois Natural Areas Preservation Act. Provides that veterans shall not be charged fees for rentals of pavilions or other meeting places or structures in a nature preserve or a State park.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. The State Parks Act is amended by adding Section |
| 5 | | 5 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (20 ILCS 835/5 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 5. Rental fees; veterans. The Department shall not |
| 8 | | charge a fee to veterans who served in the armed forces of the |
| 9 | | United States for rentals of pavilions or other meeting places |
| 10 | | or structures in a State park.

| 11 | | Section 10. The Illinois Natural Areas Preservation Act is |
| 12 | | amended by adding Section 30 as follows:

| 15 | | agency shall charge a fee to veterans who served in the armed |
