Amends the Household Hazardous Waste Collection Program Act. Provides that the Illinois Environmental Protection agency shall implement the Household Hazardous Waste Collection Program in a manner that is geographically equitable to all residents of this State. Effective immediately.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Household Hazardous Waste Collection |
| 5 | | Program Act is amended by adding Section 10 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (415 ILCS 90/10 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 10. Implementation of the Household Hazardous Waste |
| 8 | | Collection Program. The Agency shall implement the Household |
| 9 | | Hazardous Waste Collection Program in a manner that is |
| 10 | | geographically equitable to all residents of this State. No |
| 11 | | implementation priority shall be given to any region of this |
| 12 | | State based solely on the population of that region.

| 13 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
| 14 | | becoming law.
