| 1 | | AN ACT concerning employment.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Prevailing Wage Act is amended by changing |
| 5 | | Section 12 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (820 ILCS 130/12) (from Ch. 48, par. 39s-12)

| 7 | | Sec. 12.
If any section, sentence, clause or part of this |
| 8 | | act, is for
any reason held to be unconstitutional, such |
| 9 | | decision shall not affect
the
the remaining portions of this |
| 10 | | act. The General Assembly hereby declares
that it would have |
| 11 | | passed this Act, and each section, sentence, clause,
or part |
| 12 | | thereof, irrespective of the fact that one or more sections,
|
| 13 | | sentences, clauses, or parts might be declared |
| 14 | | unconstitutional. |
