2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
3 | | learn of the death of Raymond E. Goldman of Woodstock, who |
4 | | passed away on November 1, 2014; and
|
5 | | WHEREAS, Raymond Goldman was born on May 7, 1932 in Wayne |
6 | | City; his parents were Glen and Bervol (nee Austin) Goldman; he |
7 | | married Bonnie Badali on March 9, 1953; and
|
8 | | WHEREAS, Raymond Goldman served his country in the United |
9 | | States Army during the Korean War; and
|
10 | | WHEREAS, Raymond Goldman was employed as a mechanic for |
11 | | many years; he was also the owner of "The Truck Shop" in |
12 | | Crystal Lake; and
|
13 | | WHEREAS, Raymond Goldman was a member of St. Paul United |
14 | | Church of Christ in Crystal Lake; he was also a member and past |
15 | | president of The Saddle Club and a member of the Woodstock |
16 | | Moose Lodge; and |
17 | | WHEREAS, Raymond Goldman enjoyed wood carving, camping, |
18 | | horses, boating, and spending time with his family; and
|
19 | | WHEREAS, Raymond Goldman was preceded in death by his |

3 | | WHEREAS, Raymond Goldman is survived by his wife, Bonnie |

5 | | (Terry) Pfeiffer, Cindy (Jeff) Schwabe, and Sandy (Jeff) |
6 | | Miller; 9 grandchildren, April (Jeff) Diamond, Jesse (Casey) |
7 | | Goldman, Richard (Ashley) Bieniek, Brent Pfeiffer, Nicole |
8 | | Pfeiffer, Ashley (Joel) Friedman, Zachary Schwabe, Adam (Kim) |
9 | | Miller, and Rob Miller; 8 great-grandchildren, Samantha, |
10 | | Brayden, Evan, Morgan, Jack, Hunter, Jessie, and Nikki; a |
11 | | sister, Lola (Gerald) Schiller; and a sister-in-law, Mary |

13 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL |
14 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his |
15 | | family and friends, mourn the passing of Raymond E. Goldman; |
16 | | and be it further

17 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
18 | | presented to the family of Raymond Goldman as an expression of |
19 | | our sympathy.
