SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Wandalyn Walls of Sun City, Arizona, 
4formerly of River Forest and Oak Park, who passed away on May 
530, 2014; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Wandalyn Walls was born on July 31, 1924 to Gladys 
7and Merton Fisher; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Wandalyn Walls as a long-time member of Harvard 
9Congregational Church in Oak Park; she was a breast cancer 
10survivor and volunteered at the River Forest Breast Care Center  
11and the West Suburban and Oak Park hospitals for over 20 years; 
12and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Wandalyn Walls was married to William Kucharik for 
14over 30 years and to Dr. C. E. Walls, M.D.; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Wandalyn Walls was preceded in death by her 
16sister, Marilyn Maxwell; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Wandalyn Walls is survived by her sons, Ronald 
18(Karen) Kucharik, Charles (Patricia) Kucharik, and Larry 
19(Kitty Monaghan) Kucharik; her 2 nieces; 8 grandchildren; 11 
20great-grandchildren; and her much loved cat, Cindy; therefore,

2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
4Wandalyn Walls, and extend our sincere condolences to her 
5family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it 
6further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to the family of Wandalyn Walls as an expression of 
9our deepest sympathy.
