SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Richard H. Witting of McHenry, who passed 
4away on September 10, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Richard Witting was born on May 13, 1923, in 
6Marquette, Michigan; his parents were Richard F. and Lydia (nee 
7Chantelois) Witting; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Richard Witting was a graduate engineer and worked 
9as a plant supervisor for many years; he also served his 
10country as a member of the United States Coast Guard; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Richard Witting was a member of St. Patrick's 
12Church; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Richard Witting was preceded in death by his first 
14wife, Alberta Elizabeth "Birdie" Witting; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Richard Witting is survived by his wife, Angela 
16Witting; 2 sons, Richard R. Witting and Dennis Witting; 2 
17step-daughters, Patricia Ann Dumong and Cecilia Bermudez; 2 
18step-grandchildren, Angelica and Raymond Hornbower; and his 
19caregiver and friend, Virginia; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
3family and friends, mourn the passing of Richard H. Witting; 
4and be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of Richard Witting as an expression of 
7our sympathy.
