SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Anthony Michael "Tony" Ryan of Oak Park, 
4who passed away on November 20, 2013; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Tony Ryan was born on January 29, 1975 in 
6Jacksonville to Catherine and John Ryan; he graduated from 
7Waverly High School in 1993 and from the University of Illinois 
8Urbana-Champaign in 1997, with a bachelor's degree in 
9Mechanical Engineering; he married Alexandra on April 28, 2001; 
10and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Tony Ryan and his family settled in Oak Park in 
122004 and he began working at Sargent & Lundy, LLC. in Chicago; 
13and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Tony Ryan was active with St. Giles Catholic 
15Parish in Oak Park, especially with the Family Mass community; 
16he enjoyed genealogy, history, astronomy, and taking road trips 
17with his family; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Tony Ryan was preceded in death by his father, 
19John; and
  
 
20    WHEREAS, Tony Ryan is survived by his wife, Alexandra; his

1daughters, Emma, Abigail, and Samantha; his mother, Catherine; 
2his siblings, Ann Manning, Rita Robson, Mary Hickerson, Gina 
3Hawk, John Ryan, and Brother Joseph Ryan, Order of Saint 
4Benedict; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and an entire 
5community of faith; therefore, be it
  
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
8Anthony Michael "Tony" Ryan, and extend our sincere condolences 
9to his family, friends, and all who new and loved him; and be 
10it further
  
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
12presented to the family of Tony Ryan as an expression of our 
13deepest sympathy.
