2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
3 | | learn of the death of Mary Ann Henley of McHenry, formerly of |
4 | | Marengo; and
|
5 | | WHEREAS, Mary Ann Henley was born on March 27, 1957, in |
6 | | Belvidere; her parents were William and Mary Lou Zierer; she |
7 | | married Michael Henley of Waukegan on August 16, 1980; and
|
8 | | WHEREAS, Mary Ann Henley graduated from Marengo High School |
9 | | in 1975; and
|
10 | | WHEREAS, Mary Ann Henley was employed at various places |
11 | | throughout her life; she worked in the treasurer's office in |
12 | | Woodstock; she subsequently worked at Hewlett Packard in |
13 | | Rolling Meadows and at Buehler in Lake Bluff; she stopped |
14 | | working in 1983 when she moved to McHenry with her husband; she |
15 | | later served as a foster parent for 3 years; and
|
16 | | WHEREAS, Mary Ann Henley was a member of Zion Lutheran |
17 | | Church in McHenry; and
|
18 | | WHEREAS, Mary Ann Henley enjoyed attending auctions, where |
19 | | she would look for collectibles; and
|

1 | | WHEREAS, Mary Ann Henley was preceded in death by her |
2 | | grandparents, William and Natalie Zierer and Vernon and Gladys |
3 | | Kays; and |
4 | | WHEREAS, Mary Ann Henley is survived by her husband, Mike; |
5 | | her son, Josh; her parents, William and Mary Lou Zierer; her |
6 | | sisters, Diane Ross (Bob Bauer), Barbara Koester (Steve), and |
7 | | Sue Minakes (Tim); her brothers, David Zierer (Sue), Gary |
8 | | Zierer (Mary), and Robert Zierer; her aunt and uncle, Bill and |
9 | | Carol Kays; and her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and |
10 | | great-nephews; therefore, be it
|
11 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL |
12 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |
13 | | her family and friends, the passing of Mary Ann Henley; and be |
14 | | it further
|
15 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
16 | | presented to the family of Mary Ann Henley as an expression of |
17 | | our sympathy.
