SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Lorene "Mike" Frerichs of Penfield, who 
4passed away on January 30, 2013; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Lorene Frerichs was born on July 25, 1923, in Kerr 
6Township; her parents were Carl and Grace Park; she married 
7George Frerichs on November 8, 1941, on the family farm in 
8Penfield; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Lorene Frerichs farmed alongside her husband for 
10her entire married life; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Lorene Frerichs was a dedicated member of St. 
12Paul's Lutheran Church; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Lorene Frerichs enjoyed canning, cooking, 
14crocheting, gardening, and fishing; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Lorene Frerichs was preceded in death by her 
16husband, George; her parents; her 2 brothers; and her 4 
17sisters; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Lorene Frerichs is survived by her brother, John 
19(Mildred) Park; her brother-in-law, Don Gazalski; her

1sisters-in-law, Peg Park, Norma (Jean) Davis, Martha (Edgar) 
2Bruns, and Evelyn Frerichs; and her many nieces and nephews; 
3therefore, be it
  
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
6her family and friends, the passing of Lorene "Mike" Frerichs; 
7and be it further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9presented to the family of Lorene Frerichs as an expression of 
10our sympathy.
