HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of  Jay 
4Douglas Webb of Ewing, who passed away on October 2, 2013; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Jay Webb was born on May 6, 1941 in Ewing; his 
6parents were Roy Webb and Mickey (nee McKee) Webb; he married 
7Judy McKinnon on October 17, 1964; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Jay Webb, his wife, and his son were the owners 
9and operators of Webb Farms of Ewing; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Jay Webb was a member of the Farm Bureau, the 
11Future Farmers of America Alumni Association, and the Ewing 
12School Board; he also enjoyed auctioneering; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Jay Webb was preceded in death by his parents and 
14his grandparents; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Jay Webb is survived by his wife of 48 years, Judy 
16Webb; his son, Shannon (Tracy) Webb; his granddaughter, Josie 
17Lee Webb; his sister, Kay (Rick) Boundy; his aunts, Billie J. 
18(Herb) Winemiller and Judy McKee; his sisters-in-law, Donna 
19Ellis and Mary McKinnon; and his many nephews, nieces, and 
20cousins; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
2NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
3we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Jay 
4Douglas Webb; and be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of Jay Webb as an expression of our 
7sympathy.
