HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate Kathryn Brackett on the 
4occasion of her 100th birthday on December 26, 2012; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Kathryn Brackett has volunteered at Adventist 
6Hinsdale Hospital (AHH) since 1978; she has logged about 5,500 
7lifetime hours volunteering for the hospital, mainly as part of 
8the sewing group, which sews dog and cat pillows for patients 
9in AHH's pediatric department; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, In addition to her volunteer work at the hospital, 
11Kathryn Brackett is a legacy member of the Hinsdale Hospital 
12Foundation and is a consistent and generous donor to the 
13foundation; and

  
 
14    WHEREAS, Kathryn Brackett serves as a model of hard work, 
15integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of 
16Illinois; therefore, be it
  
 
17    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
18NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
19we congratulate Kathryn Brackett on the occasion of her 100th 
20birthday and wish her many happy and healthy years to come; and
