1 | AN ACT concerning public employee benefits.

2 | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3 | represented in the General Assembly:

4 | Section 5. The Illinois Pension Code is amended by changing | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5 | Sections 2-138, 14-135.09, 15-169, and 18-145 and by adding | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6 | Section 16-180.1 as follows:

8 | Sec. 2-138. To hire employees.

11 | efficient

22 | then the board may select the counsel of their choice.
