Amends the State Finance Act. Creates the Little League Fund. Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides that the Secretary of State may issue Little League Plates. Provides that the cost of initial issuance of these plates shall cost $25 in addition to any other fees, $10 of which will go to the Little League Fund and $15 of which will go to the Secretary of State Special License Plate Fund. Provides that renewal of these plates will cost $25, $23 of which will go to the Little League Fund and $2 of which will go to the Secretary of State Special License Plate Fund. Allows for distribution, subject to appropriation, of money from the Little League Fund as grants to local little league organizations in proportion to their membership size.

2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

4 | | Section 5. The State Finance Act is amended by adding |
5 | | Section 5.855 as follows: |

7 | | Sec. 5.855. The Little League Fund. |
8 | | Section 10. The Illinois Vehicle Code is amended by adding |
9 | | Section 3-699.14 as follows: |

11 | | Sec. 3-699.14. Little League plates. |
12 | | (a) The Secretary, upon receipt of all applicable fees and |
13 | | applications made in the form prescribed by the Secretary, may |
14 | | issue special registration plates designated as Little League |
15 | | license plates.
The special plates issued under this Section |
16 | | shall be affixed only to passenger vehicles of the first |
17 | | division or motor vehicles of the second division weighing not |
18 | | more than 8,000 pounds.
Plates issued under this Section shall |
19 | | expire according to the multi-year procedure established by |
20 | | Section 3-414.1 of this Code. |
