| 4 | | "Section 5. The Procurement of Domestic Products Act is |
| 5 | | amended by adding Section 10.5 as follows:

| 6 | | (30 ILCS 517/10.5 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 10.5. American-made vehicles. All motor vehicles |
| 8 | | purchased or leased by a State agency, or for the use of a |
| 9 | | State agency, on or after the effective date of this amendatory |
| 10 | | Act of the 98th General Assembly shall have a Vehicle |
| 11 | | Identification Number that begins with the number one, the |
| 12 | | number 4, or the number 5.

| 13 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect January |
| 14 | | 1, 2015.".
