SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to  
3learn of the death of
Mary Ruth Osman of Harrisburg, who passed 
4away on February 29, 2012; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, She was born on Jan. 28, 1937, in Elizabethtown, 
6Kentucky; she was the daughter of the late Lizzie Collier; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, She was employed as a hat maker and supervisor for 
8Harrisburg Manufacturing; she later worked at Joy's Hallmark in 
9Harrisburg; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, She was a member of Walnut Grove Church; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her mother and her 
12husband, Glen D. Osman; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Mary Osman is survived by her son, Darrell Osman 
14and his wife, Carolyn; her daughter, Dena McDonald and her 
15husband, Steve; her grandchildren, Jennifer Osman and her 
16fiance, Brad Reed, Doug Osman, Cameron Bruce, Casey McDonald, 
17and Jonathon McDonald; her great-grandson, Troy Neil Bruce; and 
18her nephew, Bob Hall; therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
2her family and friends, the passing of Mary Ruth Osman; and be

4    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
5presented to the family of Mary Osman as an expression of our 
6sympathy.
