| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of John "Jack" Flanagan of Bolingbrook, who |
| 4 | | recently passed away; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, He was a World War II veteran, the past commander |
| 6 | | of VFW Post 5917, a member of the American Legion, a retiree of |
| 7 | | the 1st National Bank Chicago, and a former member of the |
| 8 | | Bolingbrook Senior Sluggers Softball team; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, He was the beloved husband of Geraldine (nee |
| 10 | | Weseman); the loving father of Linda (Angelo) Tomasello, |
| 11 | | Michael, James (Irene), and Irene; the dearest grandfather of |
| 12 | | John, Eileen (Lawrence) Rogers, Jason Ormond, Brenna |
| 13 | | Tomasello, Justin Ormond, and the late Celeste Tomasello; the |
| 14 | | cherished brother of Gerald (Rita), Rita (Jack) Keough, Robert, |
| 15 | | and the late Thomas; he is also survived by many nieces, |
| 16 | | nephews, and cousins; therefore, be it

| 17 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL |
| 18 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |
