3 | | learn of the death of Theron Martel "Touche'" Lykes of Chicago, |
4 | | who passed away on March 27, 2011; and

5 | | WHEREAS, He was born on June 23, 1963; he was baptized at |
6 | | St. Mels Catholic Church; and
|
7 | | WHEREAS, He attended Providence St. Mel in Chicago, |
8 | | Hillcrest High School in Country Club Hills, Bishop College in |
9 | | Dallas, Texas, and Prairie State Jr. College in Chicago |
10 | | Heights; and
|
11 | | WHEREAS, He was a gifted artist and actor; he did |
12 | | voice-overs, videos, commercials, television, and movie roles; |
13 | | he appeared in the movies Soul Food , Barbershop and Barbershop |
14 | | II , The Fugitive , Misled , and Let's Go to Prison ; he also |
15 | | starred in the television series Prison Break ; and

16 | | WHEREAS, He was also a talented craftsmen and salesman; he |
17 | | made one-of-a-kind jewelry designs and saw the beauty in |
18 | | everything; and

19 | | WHEREAS, Theron Lykes leaves no one to mourn, but everyone |
20 | | to celebrate; therefore, be it
