SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Anthony C. Aiello of Wayne, who passed
4away on March 12, 2011; and
 
5    WHEREAS, He was born June 12, 1929, in Chicago; he
6graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in civil
7engineering; he served as a lieutenant in the Army Corps of
8Engineers from 1954 to 1956; and
 
9    WHEREAS, He started his own construction company, which
10recently celebrated 50 years in operation; he loved to travel,
11fly planes, and had flown for over 50 years; after taking a
12course at Lane Tech High School in Chicago, working with
13machines became his favorite hobby; and
 
14    WHEREAS, He was a true family man, his whole life he took
15care of family and extended family; he enjoyed reading
16biographies and history books and having a good political
17banter was always something he enjoyed; he loved his children
18and grandchildren with his whole heart, and he loved all
19children and they loved him back; and
 
20    WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and
21Frances; his sister, Rosemary Weeks; and his brother, Carmelo

2    WHEREAS, Anthony Aiello is survived by his wife of 57
3years, Angeline (nee Mazza); his son, Frank (Janet); his
4daughter, Felicia (James) Ryan; his grandchildren, James,
5Kathryn, Anthony, and Kristin; his brother, Cos Aiello; his
6brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Patrick and June Mazza and
7Joseph and Eleanor Mazza; and many fond nieces and nephews;
8therefore, be it
 
9    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL
10ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
11his family and friends, the passing of Anthony C. Aiello; and
12be it further
 
13    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
14presented to the family of Anthony C. Aiello as a symbol of our
15sincere sympathy.
