SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Makes appropriations to the University of Illinois for various purposes, including for operational expenses. Effective July 1, 2012.

AN ACT making appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The amount of $686,334,300, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Education Assistance Fund to the Board of the Trustees of the University of Illinois to meet its operational expenses for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2013.
Section 10. The amount of $800,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Education Assistance Fund to the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois for costs associated with the Hispanic Center for Excellence at the Chicago campus.
Section 15. The amount of $328,300, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Education Assistance Fund to the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois for Dixon Springs Agricultural Center.
Section 20. The amount of $1,250,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Education Assistance Fund to the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois for costs associated with the Public Policy Institute at the Chicago campus.
Section 25. The amount of $350,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Education Assistance Fund to the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois for costs associated with the College of Dentistry.
Section 30. The amount of $15,826,500, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Education Assistance Fund to the Board of the Trustees of the University of Illinois for operating costs and expenses related to or in support of the Prairie Research Institute.
Section 35. The amount of $2,834,700, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Fire Prevention Fund to the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois for the purpose of maintaining the Illinois Fire Service Institute, paying the Institute's expenses, and providing the facilities and structures incident thereto, including payment to the University for personal services and related costs incurred.
Section 40. The amount of $566,900, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Fire Prevention Fund to the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois for the purpose of implementation and maintenance of the Cornerstone Training Program at the Illinois Fire Service Institute.
Section 45. The amount of $250,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the State College and University Trust Fund to the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois for scholarship grant awards, in accordance with Public Act 91-83.
Section 50. The amount of $200,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Emergency Public Health Fund to the University of Illinois for costs and expenses related to or in support of emergency mosquito abatement.
Section 55. The amount of $200,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Used Tire Management Fund to the University of Illinois for costs and expenses related to or in support of mosquito research and abatement.
Section 60. The amount of $425,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Hazardous Waste Research Fund to the University of Illinois for its ordinary and contingent expenses.
Section 65. The amount of $500,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Professions Dedicated Fund to the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois for costs associated with the development, support, or administration of pharmacy practice education or training programs for the College of Medicine at Rockford.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2012.
