| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The School Code is amended by changing Section |
| 5 | | 24-1.1 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (105 ILCS 5/24-1.1) (from Ch. 122, par. 24-1.1)

| 7 | | Sec. 24-1.1. Employment of public school employees by |
| 8 | | nonpublic schools.
Employees of public schools may be employed |
| 9 | | on a part-time or temporary
basis by private or parochial |
| 10 | | schools, providing that
that such employment is
in no way |
| 11 | | connected with or subsidized by their public school employment,
|
| 12 | | and provided further that such private or parochial employment |
| 13 | | does not
conflict or interfere with an employee's public school |
| 14 | | duties. |
