| 2 | | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1306 as follows:

| 3 | | on page 6, by replacing lines 19 through 23 with the following: |
| 4 | | "(a) The Commission may adopt any rules and procedures |
| 5 | | necessary to enforce and administer the provisions of this |
| 6 | | Act."; and
|
| 7 | | on page 8, line 2, by replacing "$5.50" with "$15"; and
|
| 8 | | on page 8, by replacing lines 16 and 17 with the following: |
| 9 | | "(a) It shall be unlawful for any person or entity to |
| 10 | | repossess"; and
|
| 11 | | on page 8, by replacing lines 22 and 23 with the following: |
| 12 | | "(b) It shall be unlawful for any person to repossess a |
| 13 | | vehicle"; and
|

| 11 | | conjunction with the Commission in the enforcement of this |

| 12 | | State without a valid license and permit. For all other |
| 13 | | disciplinary actions against a license or recovery permit |
| 14 | | holder, the Commission shall (i) notify the accused in writhing |
| 15 | | of any charges made and the time and place for a hearing on the |
| 16 | | charges a least 30 days before the date set for the hearing, |
| 17 | | (ii) direct the accused to file a"; and

| 18 | | on page 49, by replacing lines 6 and 7 with the following: |
| 19 | | "Section 999. Effective date. This Act takes effect on July |
| 20 | | 1, 2012.".
