| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Probate Act of 1975 is amended by changing |
| 5 | | Section 27-2 as follows:

The attorney for a representative is entitled to
|
| 9 | | reasonable compensation for his services. |
| 10 | | (b) An attorney who withdraws from representing a |
| 11 | | representative must file a petition for fees and costs within |
| 12 | | 30 days after the withdrawal is approved by the court. If |
| 13 | | within 30 days after the court approves the withdrawal of an |
| 14 | | attorney from representing a representative, a motion is filed |
| 15 | | for an extension of time for the filing of a petition for fees |
| 16 | | and costs, the court may grant additional time for the filing |
| 17 | | of that petition. |
