| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The School Code is amended by changing Section |
| 5 | | 10-22.26 as follows:

| 6 | | (105 ILCS 5/10-22.26) (from Ch. 122, par. 10-22.26)

| 7 | | Sec. 10-22.26. School Lunch Program - Purchase of |
| 8 | | Equipment. To maintain and
and operate a school lunch program |
| 9 | | in accordance with
applicable regulations of the State Board of |
| 10 | | Education and
agencies of the United States government. |
| 11 | | Equipment to be used in the
school lunch program shall be paid |
| 12 | | for from the operations and
maintenance fund of the district or |
| 13 | | from any surplus remaining in the
school lunch account at the |
| 14 | | end of the school term. |
