Technology Act of 1985 is amended by adding |
| 6 | | Section 2-10 as follows:

| 7 | | (225 ILCS 410/2-10 new) |
| 8 | | Sec. 2-10. Business practices. A licensed barber is |
| 9 | | required to wear single-use, disposable gloves when shaving any |
| 10 | | part of a person's face, neck, or hairline to prevent any blood |
| 11 | | or bodily fluids that may transmit an infection from one person |
| 12 | | to another. A violation of this Section shall be grounds for |
| 13 | | disciplinary action under Section 4-7 of this Act. |
| 14 | | For the purposes of this Section, "disposable gloves" means |
| 15 | | gloves made of latex or similar sanitary material meant for |
| 16 | | single-use.
